Additionl Fees
Fees are based on the size, temperament, and coat condition of the dog. Pups that won't hold still or stand up, or that have heavy matting, will take longer to groom and have additional associated costs.
Dogs that defecate in the van often must be rebathed and the van cleaned up and sanitized. This adds considerable time to the grooming appointment. Please ensure your pet has done his business prior to his scheduled appointment.
$10 - $40 depending on severity and size of dog
Dogs are checked for fleas upon entering the salon. If fleas are found, the dog will be immediately bathed in flea shampoo. This is to minimize the exposure of the salon and is for the protection of all client dogs - yours included.
$10 - $30 depending on severity and size of dog
We ask that cancelations are made at least 48 hours prior to your appointment so that it can be filled with another customer, otherwise a cancelation fee will be assessed.
$35
If we travel to your home, and you are not there, we will have to charge a fee to cover our time and expense.
$50
If we are unable to complete a groom due to a dog's inability to stand up, remain still, or due to aggression, we will only charge a travel fee of $50 plus the fee for whatever services were rendered.
$50+
Dogs with severe matting cannot receive a haircut, but must be shaved. Dematting these dogs would be too painful. The only option for these pets is to shave them down and start over. Shaving down a matted dog is very time-consuming because care must be taken to get the blade between the skin and the mat without nicking the skin. In severe cases, the mats can be tight against the skin.
$25 - $100+ depending on size of dog and severity. This is in addition to the grooming fee.
